a forgotten banana-yellow floaty

The ocean is a source of joy and happiness for so many, but especially youngsters. The picture of a child, innocent and in awe, staring at the ocean in infinite curiosity was the image I kept in my mind while writing this piece, the child’s yellow floaty forgotten in the sand. This piece is written from the perspective of the floaty, a passive observer of its owner’s wonderment.
